The Karandila 2018 Summer Happening Festival focuses on contemporary art forms and ways to get closer to nature by combining traditional and new in the search for alternative methods of entertainment and creativity, ways of communicating and finding yourself in the surrounding world. The event monitors trends and problems in the areas we think they need detection, and we have an interest in them: ecology, sport, crafts, healthy lifestyle, leisure, new technologies, music, art.
The festival is held for the sixth year, with a duration of two and a half days. In these days, we will strive to find the points of contact between the concepts of modernity and progressive on the one hand and naturally and traditionally on the other. With many activities, we will try to prove that in a proper evolution these concepts must go hand in hand. “Summer Happening” has already become a tradition and opportunity for the region of Sliven and Karandila, from which everybody can take advantage to discover and follow new social and creative horizons.
Our concept of this is presented in the form of various workshops, exhibitions, presentations, practices, artistic performances, meetings, challenges, music and dances, games, color, mood, fire. The scene of Summer Shot is filled with a rich and varied music program.
